University of Southern California (USC) Shoah Foundation Center Junior Postdoctoral Research Fellowship for International Students in USA, 2019-20

The USC Shoah Foundation Center for Advanced Genocide Research is calling applications from Postdoctoral scholars from around the world to apply for its 2019-2020 Center Junior Postdoctoral Research Fellowship.
Founded in 2014, the Center for Advanced Genocide Research is the academic arm of the USC Shoah Foundation. The USC Shoah Foundation Center for Advanced Genocide Research is dedicated to advancing new areas of interdisciplinary research on the Holocaust and other genocides, focusing on the origins of genocide and how to intervene in the cycle that leads to mass violence. The Center organizes annual international workshops and conferences, hosts a speaker series on genocide and mass violence, and offers a competitive international research fellowship program.
Applicants whose first language is not English are usually required to provide evidence of proficiency in English at the higher level required by the University.

Rotary Foundation Graduate Scholarship Programme for Study in USA, 2019-2020 (Deadline MARCH 31, 2019)

Rotary Foundation is now accepting applications for the Rotary Graduate Scholarship programme. This scholarship is for students from outside the UK (a citizen of a low to middle-income country), who are planning to take up a place on a graduate course within District 1090.
The Rotary Scholarship programme is one of the largest privately funded scholarship programmes in the world. In 2017 Rotary International celebrated 70 years of the scholarship programme.
The Rotary Foundation is a non-profit corporation that supports the efforts of Rotary International to achieve world understanding and peace through international humanitarian, educational, and cultural exchange programs.

Scholarship Description:

  • Applications Deadline: March 31, 2019
  • Course Level: The scholarship is open for the graduate degree program
  • Study Subject: The scholarship will be awarded either in the area of Peace and Conflict Prevention/Resolution or Economic and Community
  • Scholarship Award: The applicants have an opportunity to win USD 30,000
  • Nationality: Low or middle-income countries are eligible to apply
  • Number of Scholarships: There is only one scholarship available

Cambridge University PhD Scholarship in Philosophy (Deadline end of MARCH 2021 to start PhD August 2021)


The Boustany Cambridge Pembroke Scholarship in Philosophy is offered at the Faculty of Philosophy in the University of Cambridge, one of the world’s leading institutions for teaching and research.
Scholarships will be awarded only to candidates taking a PhD degree in philosophy at Cambridge University and recipients become members of Pembroke College, the third oldest and one of the most highly regarded colleges.
The Boustany Cambridge Pembroke Scholarship is granted once every three years to an applicant in philosophy.
The Scholarship offers the following:
 Tuition fees for the three-year course
 Accommodation and living expenses at Pembroke College
 Travel and accommodation expenses related to the internship.

The Harvard MBA is one of the world's leading business programmes, taught at one of the world's most prestigious Universities.
The Boustany MBA Harvard Scholarship is granted once every two years for a two year course at Harvard Business School.
The Scholarship offers the following:
 Financial aid amounting to US$95,000 (US$47,500 per year) towards tuition fees
 Travel and accommodation expenses related to the internship.

Open to: residents (who must be nationals) of the countries mentioned below
Benefits: application and tuition fees, dormitory accommodation; subsistence costs and health insurance

Description of the programmes and application procedures
The following Master of Science degree courses are being offered in English for the 2019-20 Academic Year:
  • MSc in Plant Protection (University of Pannonia)
  • MSc in Rural Development and Agribusiness (Szent István University)
  • MSc in Agricultural Biotechnology (Szent István University)
The following universities and faculties are participating:
  • University of Pannonia, Georgikon Faculty
  • Szent István University, Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences 
  • Szent István University, Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences
Courses will be offered provided the minimum number of students is reached.
The scholarship will cover:
  • application and tuition fees throughout the study period with basic books and notes; 
  • dormitory accommodation; 
  • subsistence costs;
  • health insurance.
All of the above mentioned costs are financed by the Hungarian Government, according to the Agreement between FAO and Hungary in 2007.
The scholarship covers student costs only; family members are not supported within the frame of this programme.

Chinese Government’s MOFCOM Scholarship 2019 for International Students for MASTERS and PhD (Deadline APRIL 30, 2019)


MOFCOM Scholarship is set up by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China to further strengthen the communication and cooperation between China and other countries as well as to develop talents for developing countries. Starting from 2019, MOFCOM Scholarship mainly sponsors the young and the middle-aged talents from recipient countries to pursue their postgraduate degree education in China and entrusts China Scholarship Council to administer the Scholarship.
MOFCOM Scholarship supports the Master’s program for 2-3 years or Ph.D. program for 3-4 years. Scholarship winners must register for English-taught program if such a program is available. When only Chinese-taught program is available, students should take Chinese language training courses for one to two years before moving on to their degree study.
