OPEN SCHOLARSHIPS FOR POSTGRADUATE AT UDSM (Apply before 7th August, 2008)

POSTGRADUATE OPEN SCHOLARSHIPS

Come and study at the University of Dar es Salaam through the POSTGRADUATE OPEN
SCHOLARSHIPS PROGRAMME

The programme covers all fields of study at Masters Level on full time basis (i.e. Masters Degree by Coursework and Dissertation or by Thesis) in any Faculty or Institute at the University of Dar es Salaam.

Applicants must be Tanzanian male and female graduates of the University of Dar es Salaam or any other recognized University, with a first class or a good second-class bachelor degree.
Those interested should submit their application letter, clearly marked on top POSTGRADUATE OPEN SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME.

The application letter should be accompanied by the following enclosures:
(a) Curriculum Vitae (CV) – indicating self-description: name, sex, age, education, career, current
station and work activities, address and any other vital information.

(b) Evidence of admission into a UDSM Masters Programme

(c) Copies of secondary school certificates (Form IV and Form VI) degree certificate, academic
transcripts, and any other relevant certificates.

(d) Evidence of payment of a non refundable application processing fee of Tshs. 15,000/= to the
Director Postgraduate Studies, University of Dar es Salaam Account Number 040103000055 NBC,
UDSM Branch. Applications without payment this fee will not be considered.

(e) A brief but succinct statement of one’s education objectives, career objectives, and or professional
aspirations. The applicant should also indicate if he/she has been admitted to the University of Dar
es Salaam for 2008/09.

(f) He/she should also indicate whether has applied for financial sponsorship elsewhere.

(g) Candidates who prefer to make payment of processing fee in a form of postal money order must submit originals. Copies of money order are not acceptable
